Steel Falcon III

Recap Steel Falcon III electric guitar and Gator case. Hand crafted in Norway.

NOK 18,599.00

This guitar is in Norway. Built from choice recovered maple hardwood.

This all-original design has a 25-1/2” scale maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 24 Jescar jumbo gold EVO frets with skull and cross bone inlays.
The nut is a Graph tech Black TUSQ. This fine axe has a double action truss rod, custom carbon fiber truss rod cover and black gloss Gotoh tuners. The face of the headstock still has the original U.S. stamp indicating it was kiln dried. This is just a fun touch left over from its former life.

This guitar is finished to have a rugged appearance as to fit with the mojo of the axes cooled forged steel patina look. This is a 2-part art epoxy finish that is impervious to UV and solvents of all types and wont yellow. The finish on this axe is meant to be rough, giving it a semi relic appeal. The neck is a medium taper with relief set at 0.12 at the 5th fret. This neck has a 12″ radius with neck through body construction, Maple neck and sides. The body has an upper arm contour that shows some of the wood gain off.

All electronics are shielded with copper shielding tape. The pickups are Kent Armstrong M213k in the neck position and M215k in the bridge position controlled with a 3-way toggle, WD 500k mini pots and a Sprague Orange Drop cap, 0.033, black gloss knobs and switch craft jack. It has a Gotoh tuneomatic bridge and a Gotoh stop bar. Comes with Dunlop strap lock buttons.
Electronics all held in place with a carbon fiber pick guard that ads to the resonance. This thing sings!

This guitar is a prototype and there will be others similar, but this is a one of a kind that future axes may be built from some of the specs.
This guitar is 45.5 inches long and weighs 8.0 lb. Comes with a light wait easy to carry Gator case. Remember, save a tree and buy from builders recovering hard woods. This guitar is in “Norway”. The single Akin to Running was recorded with this guitar.
